ERA Produced PP Compression Fittings
PP compression fittings are mechanical joint fittings, which is made of polypropylene. They provide a convenient and reliable method for joining pipes without the need for specialized tools or equipment.
The fittings are typically made from high-quality polypropylene material, known for its durability, chemical resistance, and excellent seal performance under pressure. For many years, PP compression fittings have been widely used in agricultural system, drinking water supply and other pipeline systems. The overall demand in the global corresponding market is large and increasing year by year
Raw Material:
PP, is a polymer formed by polypropylene. A white waxy material, transparent and light in appearance. The chemical formula is (C3H6) n, the density is 0.89~0.91g/cm3, [1] is flammable, the melting point is 165℃, softening at about 155℃, the use temperature range is-30~140℃ [2]. Resistance to acid, alkali, salt solution and a variety of organic solvents, and can be decomposed under high temperature and oxidation.
ERA offers two most popular ranges of PP compression fittings: Performance Series and Standard Series, both are made according to standards EN ISO 15874 and NZS 4129 approved by WATERMARK, WRAS and ACS and use virginal material.
These fittings allow for a quick, simple insertion of the tube, considerably reducing installation time: simply loosen the nut (without removing it), and insert the pipe
Quality Control:
ERA's quality control process mainly includes the first piece inspection, process inspection, packaging inspection and finished product inspection.
The first piece shall be inspected by producer, mechanic and quality inspection specialist. After it’s confirmed to qualified, then we could start the mass production.
Process inspection shall be randomly conducted by process inspectors every four hours to supervise the quality of bulk order.
Packaging inspection shall be randomly conducted by process inspectors to supervise the quality of goods and packaging during the packaging process.
Finished product inspection includes: A. Product performance inspection, in strict accordance with DIN8077 standard, including appearance, dimensions (inside diameter, wall thickness, socket depth, diameter), light tightness, maximum non-roundness, melt flow rate, hydrostatic test.B. Product packaging inspection: packaging quantity, label content, carton content, packaging material quality.
We take strict inspection and monitoring standard to ensure the quality of finished products could meet quality standards and customers’ requirements.
