A bridge spanning across Shenzhen and Zhongshan lies a rainbow. On June 30th, the world-renowned super project-the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel was officially completed and opened. Our Secretary-General Xi sent a congratulatory letter to express his warm congratulations. In addition, he expressed his sincere greetings to all the comrades involved in the planning and construction.

Key One “Horizontal Line” Dream “the World’s Best”
Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel is the critical one “horizontal line” of the “A”-shaped traffic skeleton around the Pearl River Estuary. It is the first cross-sea cluster project in the world that integrates “bridge, island, tunnel and underwater interworking”, and is also the most difficult cross-sea cluster project in the world. The project has formed 15 world-first core materials, key technologies and heavy weapons of great power, and created 10 “world's best” items.
Due to the special geographical location, environmental climate and project positioning, the project has very strict quality requirements for products and construction. ERA HDPE water supply pipe has strong toughness, anti-cracking, anti-aging and other superior properties. In particular, its elongation at break exceeds 350%, and it has strong adaptability to harsh environments such as climate, wind and waves, and seawater corrosion. It provides a strong guarantee for the efficient water supply of the whole project and the realization of high quality construction of the project.
The successful completion of the construction of this world-class cross-sea cluster project allows Shenzhen and Zhongshan to officially enter the “same city moment”, so that the two major urban agglomerations of “Shenzhen-Dongguan-Huizhou” and “Zhuhai-Zhongshan-Jiangmen” on both sides of the Pearl River Estuary have realized direct cross-sea connection.
