PVC pressure pipe and fittings are made by sanitary grade PVC resin, adding quantitative stabilizer, lubricant, filler, coloring agent, etc., and through the plastic extruder extrusion molding and injection molding machine, through cooling, curing, shaping, testing, packaging and other processes to produce a kind of water supply pipe and fittings which can withstand specific water pressure.ERA Company is one of the leading company in China for exporting pvc pressure pipes and fittings.
PVC pressure pipes and fittings are mainly used for the following purposes:
A. Indoor water supply systems of civil buildings and industrial buildings;
B. Buried water supply system of residential district and factory district;
C. Urban water supply pipeline system;
D. Water treatment pipe system of water treatment plant;
E. Mariculture industry;
F. Garden irrigation, well sinking and other industrial pipe.
We can identify whether PVC fittings are pressure fittings by the following points
A. Wall thickness:
For the same size, the wall thickness of PVC pressure and non pressure fitting is different, because the pressure fitting has requirements for water pressure, and non pressure fitting usually does not need to consider the problem of pressure, so the wall thickness of PVC pressure fitting will be thicker.
B. Weight:
PVC pressure fittings tend to weigh more than non pressure fittings for the same sizes.
C. Price:
For the same size, PVC pressure fittings are more expensive than non pressure fittings
D. Production standards:
PVC pressure fittings are usually engraved with ISO1452, SCH40, SCH80, BS4346 etc …and other pressure standard numbers.
The pressure that PVC fittings can bear is generally called nominal pressure, which is expressed by Mpa. The nominal pressure is 0.63Mpa, 0.8Mpa, 1.0Mpa, 1.25Mpa, and 1.6Mpa. The minimum diameter of pipe in each pressure zone is stipulated as follows: the minimum diameter of 0.63Mpa pipe is 63mm, the minimum diameter of 0.8Mpa pipe is 50mm, the minimum diameter of 1.0Mpa pipe is 40mm, the minimum diameter of 1.25Mpa pipe is 32mm, and the minimum diameter of 1.6Mpa pipe is 20mm and 25mm. At the same time, with the increase of the temperature of the conveying medium, the bearing pressure will be smaller.
A. the difference between them is that the chlorine content is not the same, the chlorine content of PVC is about 56 percent, and the chlorine content of CPVC is about 67 percent.
B. secondly, their Vica softening temperature is not the same, PVC between 71 degrees to 75 degrees, and CPVC Vica softening temperature between 100 degrees to 125 degrees. So CPVC can be used for hot and cold water while PVC can only be used for cold water.
C. Their strength is also different. In general, the strength of CPVC is higher than that of PVC.
1. Pipe cutting:
According to the requirements of use, after taking the appropriate length, the required pipe can be cut by hand cutting saw or machine. When cutting, both ends should be kept vertically flat, and burrs and sharp edges should be removed with a file, but the chamfering Angle should not be too large.
2. Bonding of pipes and fittings:
Before bonding, test assembly must be carried out, the installation position must be determined and marked, the length of the inserted pipe end (insertion depth +10MM) and the inner wall of the pipe fitting socket must be cleaned, and then cotton gauze soaked with acetone should be used to scrub. After the acetone volatiles, evenly brush the adhesive on the outside of the pipe end and the inside of the socket, which should not be too thick, but should not be missed. After coating, insert the pipe, and rotate to the ideal combination Angle required for installation, so that the pipe is fully inserted into the socket, about 2 to 3 minutes later, it will be fixed by itself, and wipe off the excess adhesive overflow at the bonding point, keep the pipe clean. At this time do not forcibly open or turn the direction, otherwise it will cause leakage.
Adhesive components should not be acted on by external forces within 1 hour, and they are not allowed to enter water within 24 hours. They are acceptable for test only after completing curing time.
3. There must be a reliable seal to ensure that no leakage occurs during the use of the pipeline installation. And install fixing devices (pipe clamps) at intervals of 1.5M to 2.0M.
4. Due to the plastic pipe has a certain plasticity, when horizontal pipe is installed, bracket or lifting clamp should be set every 0.6M to prevent plastic pipe deformation and affect the use.
5. The pressure pipe should be far away from the heat source. The clear distance between the stand pipe and the stove should not be less than 400MM, and the clear distance between the stand pipe and the heating pipe should not be less than 200MM.
6. After construction, it can be used to cover the soil and seal the pipe only after passing the pressure test.
